Let’s explain what is The Great No Sugar Challenge, what happens inside, and how it looks.

Time

The whole challenge is 30 days, but the actual diet plan takes only 21 days. The other days are preparation and mindset.

What Do We Do in the Challenge?

There are simple 4 rules in the challenge.

  1. We avoid sugar in all its forms and grains in all their forms. However, we eat 1 slice of bread a day.
  2. When waking up in the morning, we drink 2 glasses of clean water and continue with healthy drinks throughout the day.
  3. We take few supplements three times a day as directed. These help your body repair damage.
  4. We stick to a simple menu which includes foods we can eat freely in the challenge, restricted foods, foods that are outside of the challenge. This menu is designed to repair damage.

What Do We Eat?

Low-fat cheese, eggs, select fish, tofu, caviar, avocado, olives, nuts, seeds, a variety of 50 vegetables, select beans, and 1 slice of any bread a day. We have substitutions for breads, pasta, and more. One select fruit portion a day. We eat meat once a week.

What Do We Drink?

Coffee (mostly decaf), tea, sparkling water, and even wine (dry, unsweetened) and select 40% alcohol shots.

Which Supplements Do We Take?

We take 3 supplements in the challenge.

Plus, you’ll have a list of commercial food products you can order directly and eat to make the challenge easier for you to succeed.

Is the Challenge for Me?

It’s for healthy people who want to repair damage sugar caused their bodies over the years.

You recognize this damage if:

  • Do you feel hungry all the time?

For Who the Challenge isn’t Suitable?

  • Kids and anyone under age 18.
  • Sick people.

If you have diabetes or take blood sugar/blood-pressure (BP) drugs, you can do this challenge only if your doctor approves it and monitors your blood sugar and BP levels, levels which may go down during the challenge. If you won’t monitor levels, please don’t do the challenge.

Practically, How It Works?

The challenge starts periodically on a specific date. However, you can join before the starting date and you’ll have access to material and order the supplements in the meantime.

Once the challenge begin, in the first seven days, we prepare. Preparing is first and foremost mentally; mindset.

It’s the understanding that you’re doing something wonderful for yourself and your body.

We understand the challenge rules and the diet plan, look at the shopping list, recipes, and daily menus. Then, you realize the challenge is not as difficult as it seemed.

Then, we begin the 21-day count:

Every day, a new content opens with useful information on how to succeed in the challenge with us.

For example, understanding what happens in your body, tips on success, how to eat in restaurants, how to deal with a crisis, and motivational material.

You are not alone! 

Throughout the entire 30 days, you’ll have a personal response to your questions from our team.

And, even better, you have access to an exclusive support group with people doing the challenge just like you.

Why Do We Do This Challenge for Only 21 Days?

We called this program a challenge because Rimon knows how difficult it is to change a convenient lifestyle such as a lifestyle abundant with sugar and sweets  even for a brief period of time.

We set the challenge with 21 days because from our experience since 2011, the scientific-research Rimon has done and proven results we’ve seen in clients, it is enough time to repair a significant portion of damage sugar caused to our bodies in just 3 weeks.

What Do We Want to Achieve in 21 Days?

Sugar, bad eating habits, toxins in our environment, stress, and processed foods work with sugar in our diet to cause damage to our bodies. These factors are part of  modern life and we can’t avoid them, just fixing their damage.

In this challenge, we want to help your body to repair this damage.

There are many expressions of repairing the damage that you can feel. For example, If you’re constantly hungry, your hunger system can be repaired and normalized in the challenge.

There are many things that can happen when our bodies repair damage, many of them we cannot even see (such as repair of our genes (!!!), removal of junk out, and much more.).

In the 21 days, we also want to cut off the “addiction” cycle our bodies have to sweets and sugar, which is worse than addiction to cocaine.

So after the challenge is over, you can re-learn to enjoy sweets again from a place of choice and not from stronger-than-cocaine-addiction.

Will My Blood Tests Improve Through the Challenge?

Our purpose of the challenge is to repair damage in the body and not fix specific tests. However, from our experience, because of that repair, blood tests improve!

Especially blood sugar, triglycerides, and blood pressure. That’s why people who take drugs for blood sugar or blood pressure will have to get permission from and monitor these levels with their doctor to participate in the challenge.

Cholesterol usually improves too, but it takes more than 3 weeks. Therefore it’s unusual to see changes within the challenge time-frame.

If you can examine your blood test – and we suggest as any many blood test markers as possible – before and after the challenge, you can see exactly how your body responded to the challenge.

What Happens After the Challenge?

You can either return to your regular diet or continue with us to a continuation challenge only for those who completed the Great No Sugar Challenge. 

Whatever you choose, sugar and sweets returns to your diet. But you begin “tabula rasa”, fresh start with sweets. And you’ll find your body needs much less sweetness and sugar to achieve the same level of enjoyment.

In fact, many people report their enjoyment from food increases because it’s based on choice and not impulsive and cocaine-like cravings. The normal hunger allows relaxed eating, which can make you enjoy eating even more.

Then, many people find it easy to stick to certain eating habits they acquired in challenge. For example, many people find it easier to continue avoiding sweet salad dressings or drinking coffee without sugar (when we realize hurts the taste of coffee!).

You don’t have to, but you may find it easier to stick to a healthier lifestyle.

Also, many people with excess fat find that the repair of the damage causes stubborn fat to be removed in the weeks after the challenge. It’s another sign that the body repaired damage during the 21 days.

Important about weight loss. We have unique bodies and there are other problems you may have that can prevent weight loss, such as thyroid or hormonal problems. Obviously, we don’t treat those hormonal problems in the challenge.

Also, eating excessively healthy foods can prevent weight loss, but the repair will still take place. The goal is repairing damage, and losing weight is a common side effect, not the primary goal.

Do We Do Anything Extreme in the Challenge?

Absolutely not. You might feel changes in your lifestyle and regular diet but it’s important to remember: this challenge is designed to reset and repair the body.
